Dear Serbia,

So sorry to hear that you are struggling with a recurrence so soon after treatment.

I also had a recurrence, not quite as quickly as yours, but I have been on Carboplatin and Caelyx for 4 months so far and the cancer in nearly gone. I still have all my new curly hair and have been able to do a lot more on this program than before.

There is fatigue, but not nearly as bad and the treatment is working.

Do not despair.

Best wishes,

Laura

Serbov, I was diagnosed 3C hi grade epithelial OC November 2015. After chemo and surgery I was in remission 20 months. Had 1st recurrence March 2018, then had carbo/caelyx chemo for 6 months and have been NED for 6 months and feel great. See my profile for details.

Hello Serbov, i too am stage 4 and it sounds like our treatments are very similar. I also had surgery last year and chemo finished November. I started caelyx two weeks ago so unfortunately i can not help with the remission question but all we can do is try. Ive had nausea for about a week and a half but seems to be settling down now. Keep posting how your getting on, wishing you have a good reaction to the treatment. Best wishes Jane
