My children’s school has emailed parents with a letter attached from our local police force about an internet thing called MOMO please keep your children and grandchildren up to date on internet safety apparently this Momo thing is an internet game and encouraging children to play along and give details out about where they live, and other horrible stuff. If anyone wants a copy of this letter please PM me with your email address where I will be more than happy to forward it to you xxx

Hi. Just asking my daughter if she is aware especially in relation to the grandchildren. There are some sick ppl out there. Thanks for the heads up. If she is not aware I will pm you xx
Luckily my daughter is aware and has spoken to her two boys. My son is a Network Engineer so I think he had already let her know. It's so annoying but that 's the world we live in I suppose.... Thanks for the heads up.
This has very recently come to the fore, my hubby volunteers at a youth club in the village and the young people were talking about it, it is apparently a particularly vicious and insidious hack into childrens tv programmes and also into the games they play. Pepper pig has been really badly affected. The hackers tell children to harm themselves and others and give details on how best to do it. It’s all over Facebook, WhatsApp and other social media platforms too. Unfortunately at the minute the powers that be are unable to pin down where it’s originating from. There have been incidents of children and young teens harming themselves, this awful thing is worldwide. There are some truly sick bastards out there, sorry for the language but it's how I see it 😔. Thank you for sharing this, the more awareness that can be raised the more hope we have that our young people are kept safe. ❤️Xx Jane
