Really interesting article and the subsequent googling was enlightening too. I love nuts and grains so hopefully am helping myself a little bit. Thanks for sharing Marian, hope you’re still doing well ❤️Xx Jane

I am thanks Jane, hope you are too?

I thought I’d order a supplement

of this to add to my little cocktail of supplements. I’ve since spoken to a lady in US who has taken this for sometime and remains in remission.... she’s not taken it with Avastin but on its own. She told me which one to get

Found this info which I hope you find useful. It seems many supplements have more Tocopherols than Tocotrienols so it’s worth researching the supplement first, I’ve copied the details here for you from the article I read -“ Vitamin E is an essential nutrient that contains tocotrienols and tocopherols. Both tocotrienols and tocopherols have similar chemical structures. The difference between tocotrienols and tocopherols is that tocotrienols have double bonds. Tocotrienols are often found in natural sources such as palm or rice brain oil”. So reading further on as a non medical person I understand it is that the Tocotrienols are more beneficial to us.

I’m seriously looking into this myself, I already take a cocktail of supplements so what’s one more to take to help us keep well for as long as possible?

Thank you again ❤️Xx Jane

Which one did she tell you to get please? And is it available only in the States (not sure where you are...) I'm not on Avastin, can't have that because of a genetic clotting problem, but it's worth a try on its own anyway!

Ah, thank you very much, I'm UK based too... are there any contra indications listed on any information supplied with them? Like people on blood thinners shouldn't take them (can't find anything on line)? Can you chew the capsules?

Very interesting. Thank you for sharing. X

Very interesting Marian! I've been working on the whole sugar/cancer thing which I disagreed with last year on somebody's post. I said I'd study it and I have been ever since and have to admit I've come around to a metabolic view of cancer in general. I've been looking at the science involving lowering blood sugar and also the anticoagulant /anti inflammatory effect of aspirin...

What this has to do with your tocotrienols ? Well I've just seen that you can get supplements, and on the list of side effects it says they can lower blood sugar and may cause bleeding (like aspirin).

Curiouser and curiouser!!

Lynn

Hi Lyn. Yes, it seems to be a natural Avastin. Food for thought for sure

Thanks for sharing! My "googling" revealed that many people use this for hair loss or hair thinning! Wouldn't that be a nice side effect for us? As chemo continues to ravage my body I just KNOW there is a better way to keep the beast at bay.....just gotta keep looking.

Not what you're looking for?
