Well ladies (and gentlemen) its Christmas Eve, a day I prefer over the actual 'big day'. I think its the anticipation (maybe Im still a kid at heart!). I just wanted to wish each and everyone of you a very happy Christmas and nothing but the very best for 2019. I will be raising a glass to each and everyone of you and shedding silent tears for everyone of our teal sisters who are no longer here to enjoy this time of year with their families who I am sure will be missing them terribly (as I miss my mum and dad) at this time of year. Whatever you are doing, however you are feeling healthwise, I hope you enjoy the day as much as you can. Bless you all and thank you for your support xx Kathy xx
Happy Christmas 2018: Well ladies (and gentlemen... - My Ovacome
Happy Christmas 2018
Merry Christmas Kathy! Missing my mum and dad too. Every blessing to you in 2019!
Thanks for your kind thoughts, Kathy. Yes, I miss my mum and dad too. My mum worked tirelessly for us at Christmas!
Happy Christmas Kathy and wishing you many more. Have a wonderful time even though tinged with sadness.
Heartfelt thoughts, thank you. A very happy a Christmas to you Kathy and to everyone here. Life isn’t fair, there are no guarantees and goalposts move (you might recognise this from The Chimp Paradox) but let’s make the most of every day, wherever we are, and whatever we’re doing. Here’s to good news in 2019 🎄⛄️ xx
Happy Christmas Kathy. So well put , such a time for mixed emotions for many.
You have been such a support and inspiration to so many this year as always. Wishing you a healthy, fun Christmas surrounded by love.
Love and best wishes Kim 💜
Happy Christmas to you snd yours - I’ll be thinking of those who have died from this place and my own more personal losses as I sit down with my family tomorrow - none of us have a long life as a given so we must live as much as we can in the here and now whilst hoping for the best x
Totally agree with your sentiments Kathy. It’s a difficult time of year with a mixture of happiness and celebrations but also sadness of those not with us or unwell. You are an amazing person, after all these years you continue to offer valuable support and advice to all the lovely ladies on this site. Wishing you a very Happy Christmas & New Year! Jo xx
Thank you for your kind and thoughtful wishes for a joyful Christmas. I am trying my best and fortunate to have my daughters and grandchildren here. On the 26th I get my 5th frontline treatment and CT scan results. Trying not to think about it til then. Happy holidays to all!
Hi Kathy I wish you a blessed Christmas and good health for the coming year xx
Thanks, Kathy 😊 Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a joyful New Year with continued good health 🥂
xx Gina
So miss my mum and dad too.Mum passed in June 2012 and Dad January 5th 2013, last time we spent with him was Christmas 2012, still sad, luckily they never knew I got cancer.
I also spare a thought for George Michael, I was a massive fan and he passed Christmas 2 years ago,
So all in all I love Christmas, but, not a great time for me and particularly this year as every other year I don’t spend it with my grandkids, this year is my quiet year, but maybe I need some peace?
Love to you all, no matter what you do xx
Merry Xmas to you and your family. Like many others will be thinking of friends lost and my dear mum who we lost in 2017.. She spent Christmas with us every year. I lit a candle outside last night on the doorstep to guide her, I knew she would want to pop in. X x x
Such a lovely message Kathy and it is very much reciprocated. Along with many teal friends sadly lost this year, I have also lost my mother (93 yrs old) and one of my sisters and feel the pain accutely. Love and best wishes on this Christmas Day to all the lovely ladies on this site and hope that 2019 is a healthy and happy year for us all. Gwen xx
Kathy--wishing you a very good day today--Merry Christmas. Miss my relatives that are gone (Mom just passed and Dad gone too) and enjoy so much the ones that are here. Love how you give many hope and thank you always for your incredible support. oxoxo
