Avastin joint and muscle pain
Hi Jayne. I had to resort to fairly strong painkillers Im afraid. Hope you manage to find some relief xx
Hello. Short term I would ask your GP for pain relief-I use Naproxen for my RA pain as it’s better on your stomach and you can combine with paracetamol. Gentle exercise (I know you probably don’t feel like it but it does help). If it doesn’t go away ask for a referral to rheumatology.xx
Hi you poor thing. I have joint pain--sometimes really bad (humidity exacerbates it) and swimming/floating/walking/whatever in a pool really helps. I go from looking like a hunched over old person to a fairly spry young one (I am not young but I feel so much better after!). If you have a pool near you (even if you don't swim) try going and even walking around in the pool. The lightness of your body allows you to do stretching and flexing you can't do on land. I feel so much better and it lasts for many hours.
I had my Dr refer me for physical therapy.
It proved to be very beneficial.
Take care and Merry Christmas!!
As one person said being in water helped so enquire if hydrotherapy is available in your area. A friend recently had it plus physio after breaking her arm and then kneecap on holiday!
