My CNS Sarah has been involved in producing a booklet about Ovarian Cancer.

I have copied the pages but cannot upload more than one page at a time (approx 18) but if anyone would like to read it I can email it if you provide your email address.

Unless someone can advise me how to upload the whole 18 pages in one post. There isn’t anything new but it is still interesting reading and I’m not sure if other Health Authorities outside Wales produce something similar.

Feel free to ignore if not interested.

Jan xx

Hi Jan

Thank you for that- wondering if you're treated at Velindre? We may share the same CNS; I'm in hospital for bloods/ clinic appt in 2 weeks so will try & get a copy.

Hope you're treatment is going ok and you're coping with the caelyx. I finished this regime in April. Let me know if you fancy meeting up at all, PM me & I'll give you my email address. Take care

Love Michelle xxx

Hi Michelle, yes I’m part of Velindre family. My doctor is Amy Quinton.

I’m now on Gemcitabine too early to say if it’s working just have to hope it’s doing something. Unfortunately Caelyx didn’t do much for me.

I’m on a 3 week on 1 week off regime so I’m there this Thursday & next.

Xx

Hi Jan- we have the same Oncologist! Sorry caelyx wasn't great for you.

There's often a meeting with OC ladies in the Copthorne hotel, last Wednesday of the month I believe? (Haven't been there yet but I should go!) There are posters on the wall of velindre with details.

I haven't any experience with gemcitabine, wishing you well with the new regime.

Best wishes, Michelle xx
