Excessive hic cups

I’m curious to know if anyone has experienced excessive hic ups. I’ve been in terrible abdominal pain since late Friday and have new pain in my chest, behind left breast and under left armpit with increasingly irritating hic ups that do not go away.

Any experience or thoughts about such things or any possible solutions? Thank You for your time!

I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing such pain and other symptoms since Friday. I would strongly suggest you contact your medical team about this today. Severe pain since Friday and new chest pain are symptoms they need to know about so they can advise you.

Hopefully they will be able to alleviate your hiccups too, which must be exhausting.

I hope your team are able to resolve your symptoms for you soon.

Just wanted to say I agree wholeheartedly with what Anna has said.

Please seek medical advice immediately.

I do not mean to scare you but last summer I started to get a little bit of chest pain. Nothing major and I just thought it was indigestion. However it turned out I was having a heart attack. I was rushed into my local cardio unit where I was diagnosed with a myocardial infarction and given emergency surgery .

My heart attack symptoms were nothing like you see on the movies. No crushing pain or grabbing my chest or collapsing on the floor. It just felt a bit uncomfortable and I was convinced I was wasting everyone’s time. If I had ignored the symptoms goodness knows what may have happened.
