Mistletoe treatment

Hi anyone,

I’ve just started mistletoe treatment (fraxini is the particular strain) it’s working out well for my condition. However the practitioner I’m going through is ripping me off. I’m desperate to find a way to get my own prescription then I can access the treatment myself. Does anyone have any experience in this area, please?

You used to be able to get it from the Royal London Hospital for Integrated Medicine, but I’ve got a feeling mistletoe is one of those treatments which are harder to get from there now. It might still be worth you contacting them to see if they can help? If you have been paying out of pocket for it, they may be able to make suggestions for you. I think your GP can directly refer you to them.

Good luck, Vicki

I used to dispense loads of mistletoe prescriptions about 10 years ago as there was a specialist place near Bewdley that gave it. Also dispensed lots of NHS GP prescriptions. However the NHS has tightened up a lot recently for homeopathic and unproven treatments. I have moved into a different field now so not sure if still allowed on NHS. We used to have a special import licence to get it from Germany.

I've got no experience of Mistletoe so have no pearls of wisdom. Have you had a look at 'related posts'? I remember Jan50 tried it. Xx
