Oh My!! I'm overwhelmed with all the well wishes and positive responses. Wow Thank you so much. It feels really good. I could feel the hugs way over here. The appointment went great. I met the surgeon yesterday , a wonderful down to earth man. He laid it all on the table and high fived me 3 times for my proactive knowledge. You see i researched all of this for 6 weeks day and night . Watched the videos of the types of surgeries they use now. He explained which one he will start with or may end up with , you all know how it is. They gave me a Binder of material to read the do's and don'ts , the prep before the surgery and an appointment for eeg, ekg and more blood work.Wow so much to do keeps me busy though. Glad I have some one to share it all with.

Hi Abbys135,
Sounds like you had a great appointment and that all your research helped. I also like knowing things in advance so I can make the most of my time with the specialists.
Keep us posted on how things are going for you. Best wishes. XXOO
Glad it went well xx
All the very best with your surgery, I’m like you, I feel knowledge is power. Keep in touch here and you will have a lot of support through the tough bits. But we also share lots of positive stuff too xx
Really pleased all your hard work on 'getting yourself up to speed' gave such positive results. For me, 'engaging' with learning as much as I could has made it easier to look for any tiny posiitives in the way the OC and my body reacted.
"Best foot forward" (my Dad's words when I was small) and good luck. Warm wishes. Lx
