Heartbreaking! And her smile is so big! Her tumour was 93cms....😪 as you say, time more money and energy poured into research for this shitty disease.

Very distessing - but so is the fact that half of us now get cancer, when it used to be 1 in 3 and 50 years ago, nearer 1 in 20... and that increase can no longer be attributed to the fact that people live longer, as used to be said, because its young people too. My palliative care nurse told me they recently had a meeting as to how to manage, because they have so many cancer patients on their books, there's been a massive increase during the last 3 years. It's a worrying trend...

It's probably more the way we are, and have been, living which needs to be sorted out to have more impact for more people longer term.
