chemo and bowel obstruction

Hi, I have been dealing with ovarian since 2010, bad treatments and bd times, but more happy good times wathcing my five babies turn into young adults. I have been in hospital for 5 weeks noww with bad obsrruction, I have been on keytruda and zujua, not working. surgurgy is too intense for obsrruction. Dr. decided to do cisplatuim last wedsesdday, i am allergic to carbo. I have been so so very ill with chemo, which was done in hospital.I am fianally only a little nauseauted, I have had very little bowel movement, they just dont want to work.I have been on tpn for 5 weeks now, not even hungry except for occasional pizza craving which I know I cant even handle bite. We are consulting with colonoscopy dr to see if stent will be option to help obstruction, Cisplatuim is two weeks away and I know I just cant do again, My mind is emotionally going to go over the edge from anymore chemo. IM praying the stent procedure works and their is a light chemo to keep me at bay again. The hardest is anyone understanding decision for no more chemo. You poor love! That sounds really horrible. Hoping that they can find some solution that helps you and that you can find a way to tolerate a bit more but totally understand that you have to have some quality of life xxx

Kick it arse again 😘 you can ! I focus on my family, helps me to stay strong & positive! It’s normal to feel like you are, I have times when I think I’ll take my chances and go it alone, but really chemo kicks it back for now until something else comes through! Sending big hugs 🙏🙏
