Is 6cm he says size of tennis ball is what he describes big?

Hi, from what I know they can range massively. Mine was 14cm so 6 seems quite small in comparison! I know a 'normal' cyst can also grow fairly big and be harmless.

Wow! Well I thought it was small. But it's septated with what he thinks is solid area. I am just confused why I am not getting more scans. But he is scheduling me surgery and he done a transvaginal after the ER done the CT. The ER doc called it a mass and that made me freak,but I read sometimes with it having a solid component they do so.

If we are talking size , mine was 23 x 12 x 12. ! However, I gather from reading various stuff that over 30cm is not unusual. Not sure whether size matters other than it might indicate how long it has been growing but the grade would have to be taken into account as well.

Thank you for your reply! I know I did not feel it was big but my gyn seems to think so. They are in the process of scheduling me for surgery. I had a CT before going too him in the ER and the ER Doc called it a mass and my gyn said it's a septated cyst. I am feeling better about it then I was. I am just so fatigued more then anything lately.
