Hi lovely ladies x I went to see my oncologist this afternoon; to get the results of my kidney function test x I was ready for him to give me bad news, which is all I seem to have had from drs in the past months.
I was shocked when he said my ca125 count had gone down. He told me to go on my holiday in December and have a good time and don’t live in a cocoon.
I have been walking round with a silly grin on my face ever since.
I know this count can go up at any time but I’ll take the down count for now 💝💝💝
I hope you are all well xx
Love Marion

"Well done you" as one of my friends says to me! I started to cope better when I realised my ups and downs in moods were just like when I was grieving for my Dad when he died...fine one minute and a weepy mess the next, triggered by goodness knows what! I am simply grieving for the life I would have had without this wretched disease 'getting in the way'!! This has helped me to feel kind and compassionate to the limitations I'm dealing with and the hard work of recovering from the ops and then chemos....and then enjoying each new experience I can seek out. So, hope your rollercoaster is not too violent but hang on tight and scream and laugh. Mindfulness helps me too.
Thanks xx when I first got my diagnosis for the first week I was in my box waiting for the lid to go on let alone a cocoon 😢😢
Now I feel as if a massive weight has been lifted x I know I’ll never be free of this cancer but I now feel as if I’ve been given the key to the live door, and boy am I going to use it 😁😁😁
Goodo Marion,! Enjoy every moment, last time I was told my liver function wasn't great and we joked about too many sangrias on holiday,we all know it does things that no one is prepared to talk about, but, they go up and down and we are still here.
