Hi

My cyst-later diagnosed as a GCT on removal and examination- was spotted on a vaginal telescopic examination, but my symptoms were continuous bleeding.

Don't know if this helps you.

Regards

Tumours can be spotted on scans, but the scan wouldn't show what type of tumours they are. They need to be tested in the lab for that. My symptoms of GCT were persistent spotting of blood, bloating, frequent urination & diarrhoea. I also had a pleural effusion. And the doctors couldn't tell what type of ovarian cancer I had until after I'd had surgery. I suggest you see a doctor to find out what is causing your symptoms. There may be other causes of your symptoms. Di

Hi, I've just looked at some of your past posts. I see you have already seen a doctor, who said she could see no sign of cancer, and wanted an mri, to check out your cysts. As GCT is a type of cancer, she presumably doesn't suspect that. Please try not to worry- I know that's difficult - but you say you have another appointment. I hope you get some answers then. Di
