I'm a day behind as I thought 23rd April was today! St. George's Day is the traditional day for picking dandelions to make dandelion wine but the dandelions here in East Sussex have mostly gone already....everything seems two to three weeks early this year. Although I hear we're getting cold winds and frosts and it's already snowing in Scotland. Hope my bees are going to be ok and there's a few veggie plants I need to protect with fleece.
