Hiya ladies !,

Can not believe I am writing this post at 11pm from my hospital bed!! The operation was successful and the gyno said that I am NED!!!!! I am truly amazed by this , ( on Morphine so may be spaced out enough to have imagined it !!!! ) ... was in theatre for 6 hours !!!!

Very little pain , uncomfortable but I don't give a damn !!

I cuddled the surgeon when she told me !

I'll update tomorrow ...

Lots of spaced out love πŸ‘€πŸŽ‰πŸŒ‘πŸ’‰πŸŽˆπŸ’Š

Well done! Just wanted to say hello- I was also operated on at St Michael's back in 2013! Still go in for check ups. Think we may have the same surgeon.

Best of luck with your recovery-hope all goes well!

Hiya !

Thankyou for the reply.. mine was difficult too.. painful night last night, Stoma bag decided to leak all over the bed, obviously when I was having a blood transfusion to make it more difficult to change my bed ... can kind of see the humorous side this morning!

Heartburn from hell also this morning.. keep reminding myself of my wonderful results!

Much love ❀️ Jackie xxx

Well believe it because it is!!! Don't worry you will sleep once you are over the initial elation.

Not so good for me at moment, had another reaction to 2nd carbon treatment today. So they abandoned chemo.

Going in Thursday to be re challenged while my own consultant is on site.

Just read, please don't feel the need to reply today.

Did you have optimal debulking despite evidence of no evident disease?

Hiya Jess,

You'll be fine Jess, I know πŸŽ‰... I underwent 3 chem sessions , commencing in September, then a scan to see if debulking would be an option.. The tumours had shrunk however some cancer still remained.. I believe I will still have the 3 0ther planned chemo sessions ... aw Jess let me know how it turns out .. there's always something don't worry ! β™₯οΈπŸŽ‰Xxx

Fab Fab News and so glad you felt OK enough to write it just after your Op too!! And it all was spelled correctly, and no weird words so you must have been concentrating hard under the Morphine influence!!!!

You will hear it again today I'm sure which again will be a 'Hooray moment' . Fab fab fab.

Time now to rest, be looked after if possible and recover.....and it always helps if you can smile broadly as you can!

So pleased for you,

Take care

Well here I am , at 2.20 am wracked with wind pain , drinking peppermint tea! Still in seventh heaven re my news !

Funny old journey isn't it, we truly have to deal with so much during this journey don't we.?

I'm almost preparing for another reoccurrence beforehand even getting over this ! It's like it will never leave our lives isn't it ?

Oh well , clearly come down off of my original 'high' guess I still can't believe the buggers have left home !! Or rather been evicted !! 😬

Keep you update,
