Woman with low grade - never recur ?

Please , I like to hear woman with stage 3-4 , low grade who have never recur.

I have been on Letrozole for past 12 months after Consultant felt there had been a little bit of movement in a calcified nodule. Before this had radical hysterectomy and was then NED. Didn't have chemo as low grade doesn't tend to respond well to it!

My understanding is that we 'low graders' are quite a small group. So the reason you haven't got many responses so far might be because there aren't that many in this position.

I can't help too much as surgery was unable to get all of my tumours. I'm not being monitored for 'recurrence' as it never went in the first place. So no NED for me.

I did recently discuss Letrozole with my consultant and she said that it was an option when my tumours started to cause symptoms again.

Sorry, to not be able to give a better answer. However, my understanding is that we are a hard group to predict. That means there may well be some low graders who haven't recurred but the chances of finding them on here may be slim. I can believe that once you're cancer free some people would prefer not to have to think about it and wouldn't bother posting in these groups too much.
