Just say thanx for advice on iron tablets will give them a miss.. only asked.. as a lady had said oh your lips look pale and i said so what does that mean she said your iron levels are low.. so reason why i asked you lovely ladies the question.. hope everyone ok.xxx

I also struggle with anaemia due to chemo and another underlying condition. A couple of things to consider- if anaemia gets really bad it can make you very unwell so I would say don't ignore it . After years of having to take the horrible pills I discovered that taking Ferroglobin ( one of the over the counter liquids) did the trick if I took it regularly and no nasty stomach issues! I was on it throughout chemo.

The complements we get when going through chemo, we are either pale or dull looking or the one we all hate, "you do look great". I would mention it to your team as they do the bloods every few weeks and they know more about you than the lady does. If your blood count was that low they would hold chemo for a week so rest assured they are looking after you, all the best
