I love Autumn

In some ways I'm in a bad place waiting for scan results and with a kidney blocked and possible stent op, but then I look at the Autumn colours and they are so beautiful. I just had a weekend in the Yorkshire Dales and it was lovely up there.

The waiting for results is always awful , no matter how long we have been doing this .

I am sorry to read about your kidney and maybe stent , it's all so relentless .

It is , this year , the most beautiful autumn and the Dales must have looked fabulous .

But Autumn makes us sad too ... ? but winter is followed quickly by spring .....and we hope to see it all again .

When you have been on the hamster wheel of chemos , I think we get rather emotional ( and why not ? ) as the seasons change . It's going to get cold in the next few days , so shake the sweaters out and snuggle down xx

All best wishes for those results .

Thanks, it has been relentless for the last year due to allergies to carboplatin and then cisplatin not working, so I'm on doxil now but don't know what's affecting my kidney till I see the docs on Wednesday. I found out because they phoned me to get extra blood tests x

Hope everything goes well for you

So pleased you enjoyed the dales. I'm very lucky to live in them. And it is spectacular at the moment

Take care

I was in the dales last month at a wonderful B and B in Austwick, and went to Clapham. We loved the area and I'm glad you did too.

Take care and thinking of you with the scan. I have one due soon so empathise big time.

Hi love,

Waiting for results is the worst,I have just done that with a scan and I think diverting yourself is the way to go,I did it and it worked.

Do what you love, read, travel, doing things with friends, anything to lift your mood

You will be fine,be strong,

I wish you all the best

I agree about diverting ourselves. There's nothing else I can do till I get the results. I'm meeting a friend for coffee and another one for lunch and I've got a DVD for this evening as my partner has a meeting and she's seen it.

I am glad you had a lovely weekend, I agree the colours of Autumn are just lovely. Best of luck with the scan and result,

Well the caelyx isn't working, and I need a stent before starting weekly taxol. I'm feeling inclined not to bother with either but I know the taxol has worked form some people so here we go again.
