Dear all, thank you so much for all your amazing comments. What a shock this was but am so pleased as it has raised awareness of our awful disease. This award is for all of us women going through this and those who have unfortunately passed away, like Angie and Annie and all the women. I feel we have all won already by getting OC noticed on a prime time TV station.
We are all inspirational and deserve this recognition.
Now I've got to find the energy to go to London this weekend and go to the luncheon. They are very kindly lettting me take our daughter to the luncheon due to my circumstances.
I don't need an award, just one woman saying the handbag helped her to get diagnosed quicker is good enough for me.

I watched this morning and was thrilled to see our very own Gill Harler getting some real recognition for the tremendous work she has done.
