Mine was about a month too. Fingers crossed for you.
Hopefully they would schedule it for not longer than a month, wish you the best with your appointment with the consultant and dont be afraid to push for a date
Mine surgery was pencilled in before the scan I was told so that they guaranteed a date. Maybe if you ask your oncologist they wil say the same to you.
They've said that If my scan doesn't show enough shrinkage, they will need to give me more chemo until they're happy with the results. Just hoping it goes ahead.
After my second chemo my Ca125 had dropped from 5000 to 414 so would have dropped even more now as I've had my third chemo.
That's a fantastic drop in your CA125 and it shows the chemo is doing the job. If it keeps going down like that you'll find they will be happy . Mine kept going down started at 2200 now down to less than 5. So you keep focus on that fantastic result. Xx
I had diagnostic laparoscopy on 4th of March last year, they took samples and called me for debulking surgery on 13th of March, so that was very quick. I dont think they will let you wait more than month. Best of luck with surgery, let us know after your appointment.
