I started noticing a slight twitch in my neck during my chemo and didn't really pay much attention or mention it to oncologist. Now that I'm on the Avastin it still happens occasionally. Just wondering if anyone else has had this? or any ideas what it could be?
Thanks

Yes I had it for a couple of days, I mentioned it in clinic but they didn't seem to be worried. I think when on chemo you have all sorts of different pains, feeling etc. We tend to be more awear of our bodies. X
I am on the maintenance phase of my treatment on Avastin only (having had 6 rounds of Paclitaxel/Carboplatin/Avastin with debulking surgery between cycles 3&4). I have developed a stiff neck over the last 4 weeks or so. I mentioned it to my oncologist last week and she is arranging for me to have an MRI scan just to be sure it's nothing nasty. She did say OC/PPC isn't one that migrates to bone. Mention it to your oncologist. Good luck with your treatment and recovery - stay strong.
The Avastin does something to the blood vessels and also our nerve endings are thus affected I read that some where, I would get facial pain for a day or so after infusion and blurry vision the odd time. It does have all different side efects that the docs dont know or for some reason dont accept. But they are learning from us.
