Any ideas

Hi

Every time I see the oncologist she asks if I have a discharge. Up until this week I haven't but now have a slight scrape slightly coloured, not every day. My CA125 has risen recently. Is this scrape normal and should I be alarmed if it's a strong colour. Any advice we,come.

I used be asked that question too but the answer was always No. From time to time I would get a discharge but it went away. I did mention it to mygynae onc and he said it was probably an infection because it wasnt there when he checked. Maybe ring your CNS in the unit for advice

Thank you. I mentioned it to the MacMillan nurse and she said it could be a sign but I think as its hit and miss I will wait until I see the oncologist again and if it's still appearing mention it to her. I don't have a lot of faith in the MacMillan nurse she seem to have little knowledge of this cancer and just sits nodding her head when I say something and smiling. I need more down to earth advice.

Mine was hit and miss and then eventually I got pain and next as if some thing burst but that was the end of it then. I never got it back after,
