Morning everyone - and morning to Valeriel! Thank you for spotting me on the other thread, Val. It's great to have such good support here, and to feel you can share thoughts safely, and ask for help. It's even better to find friends here after meeting 2 years ago on the Macmillan site. We really are a close-knit community, right around the UK. Hope everything's going OK for you Val, and are you planning any round-the-world trips for 2017?

Caroline x

I agree it's great to have somewhere to go to contact others who will understand because they've been there. I don Lt know what I'd do without the info and support on this site x

Good morning Caroline and fellow travellers. I don't know how to send private messages so my reply to Caroline will get a public airing!! Indeed I missed your reply Caroline a month ago and have just found it!! So...all good here. Approaching 3 years since it all kicked off. Now on 6 monthly check ups with next one at the end of September. My golf is getting back to where it was and I am thoroughly enjoying Pilates once a week. Joined Slimming World and have lost 24lbs and feel so much better for it. Still enjoying Freddie, my little grandson who has now been joined by another, George, now 6 months old. Not planning any big trips but enjoying shorter breaks including Berlin, fantastic city, Lisbon in November and a week in Norfolk in September. Hoping to go to New Zealand again in Jan 2018. I hope you are managing your watch and wait as well as you managed your original diagnosis. Are you still keeping fit with an eye on more running event? Love Val x
