Is there a new treatment in the coming year?

Hi all,

I am wondering if there is any new treatment to be released in the near future for the OC? In US apparently there is nothing new, the research is soooo behind on this type of disease compared with other type, like breast for example. Anybody heard anything?

Parp inhibibitors have now been approved in third line treatment (Brca). X

I went for a second opinion with a very senior Professor specialising in Ovarian cancer two weeks ago, and there was a big conference in Chicago last week. He told me that they are just starting to trial Immunotherapy drugs which have had success with lung cancer and melanoma in Ovarian Cancer. I don't know how this will work, but it could be good news for the future. Best wishes.
