Problem posting with a photo
Hi ..
Write your post and put in a heading. Press 'Add a photo' and then choose where it's from. Choose the photo and wait for it to load. Then press the submit button. Xxx
Hi there, thank you for reply, I have been doing that and it while waiting for photo to load that the post disappears, maybe something to do with my phone? I will try again tomorrow Thanks x
I wonder if the problem is using your phone to upload a photo. Do you have a desktop or laptop? I generally email pix from my phone to my own email account, save them on my laptop and upload from that. I think there may be reduced functionality accessing the site from a mobile phone.
Good luck getting your pic uploaded. I've just changed my profile photo as I lost all my hair with taxol and now it's grown back a completely different colour and texture. Having said that my hair doesn't show in this new one. I'm also having problems with photos and resizing them to make them fit the specification.
Sometimes I curse modern technology! xx Annie
Hi there Annie, thank you for your reply, I do have a laptop but I'm not that good on it in fact I'm just about getting my head round this new phone, but I will try what you suggested. I'm sorry that you have lost your hair yet again,I have been following your journey since 2011 which is when I was first diagnosed I'm glad you got to the Marsden which is where I am treated,Thank you once again for your tip I will certainly have a goat try that x
I dont think the goat will try that, I mean I will have a go at trying that.
Oh that's so lovely of you to share how long we go back. I think I must have joined this community in about May 2011 as I was recovering from my surgery. I remember a lovely lady ringing me and I hadn't a clue who she was but I've since decided it must've been Ruth from Ovacome's Nurse-led team. She was so encouraging and had just the right words for me.
I lost my hair for the first time with third line chemo when I started carbo-platin and taxol starting the first week of June last year.
Are you in the Fulham or the Sutton branch of the Royal Marsden? I love Fulham. It's a bit of a cottage hospital and so very friendly. I hope I can take some of the experience over the last 3 years to help review and redefine the cancer service in SE Wales. I've joined their Transforming Cancer Services initiative as a patient representative.
I'm treated in the RM for active treatment/lymphoedema but in Cardiff for palliative care which has been second-to-none.
It would be fun to meet up after all these years. xx Annie
Hi Annie, I'm at the Fulham branch,I only go twice a year now, under Martin Gore, I always look around the waiting room to see if I can recognise anybody from this forum, I hope your current treatment is going well.xx
I'm under Martin Gore and Suzie Bannerjee. I'm going to be there regularly from now on so let me know if you're going along for a Tuesday appointment and we can get together. xxx
It seems to me that the site in general is behaving very strangely tonight! Maybe best to try again tomorrow, as you say!
