Blood pressure

Hi comrades I'm back n Clemo and seem too be having low blood pressure , has anybody had it as a side effect , I tell u it's not pleasant thank u

That sounds horrible. Is low blood pressure listed on your fact sheet for one or both of your chemotherapy treatments? I think I'd ring the CNS and tell them if it's making you feel bad in case there's something they can do to help.

I had 6 sessions of chemo with alvastin, then carried on with alvastin alone and my blood pressure went sky high, but just went to my doctor who after 3 different tablets found one to suit me, which I've now been on for a year, no problems. Hope you get sorted.

Apologies still half asleep read it as high blood pressure, not low pressure not the same sorry x

Hi, I didn't have it as side effect from chemo, but following surgery I had it and fainted on day 2. It was an awful feeling so I empathise with you. I think you need to let your team know. Is there a 24hr helpline at your chemo unit you can call? Ann x

Just take it easy until you can see a doctor, dont move suddenly or get up suddenly and take your time getting out of bed, Ring the hospital or your gp on Monday,
