My favourite is soaking my feet in a basin of water with epsom salts in it. It does help the aches . My feet swell in evening not a lot though, but I do notice more recently that they are sore. Are you on treatment at the moment? Maybe talk to your gp or macmillan nurse to get some advice best wishes

HI Bobbyo1. I am also on Avastin nearly two years now so time is coming around to finish. My feet have been sore on and off during this time. I find somethings it helps to wear runners as it gives the feet more support. An odd time, I will have an ankle support or two. I have met another lady who is not on this forum and she went to Rheumatologist and they told her recently that her foot problems are down to Avastin. I find once I am up and about, it takes a while to free out but once I am walking I have no problem. I really should see my gp.

Do you know what has caused it? Have you spoken to your doctor about it?

I was prescribed Lasix for swelling, as needed, and told to elevate my feet. Hope this is helpful.

Feet: when my oncologist wanted me to have chemo _ FEC - T,- he gave me a printout from Macmillan about this, showing side effects which included peripheral neuropathy - numbness or tingling hands and soles of feet. ( " - - - symptoms usually improve slowly after treatment finishes but in some people they may never go away - - -"). He also advised me that the chemo could affect my heart.

Well, since I am 70 and live alone, my mobility (walking to the shops and activities and friends, to bus stops, and leisurely cycling) and general well being (i.e. my heart keeping ticking and my feet keeping me walking!) for as long as I am able to maintain them are what I value most. So I have said no to FEC-T chemo and I feel at peace with that decision.

Heavenly Feet do a great range of boots, sandals and shoes. I use them and I not only have swollen feet but I also take a size 8. Sometimes my feet resemble a Yeti's in a bad mood LOL….
