Hi Ann Marie

.. Yes, you have signs but you need not worry. It's a precaution and that's the sign of a good GP. Xxx

Thank u

Are you being referred for a ct scan or have you had one. Try not to worry the only thing I can say is that you doctor is correct in referring you on. The recent NICE guidelines in the Uk on doctors referring patients for a consult if they are not happy are obviously working to your advantage. The sooner a patient is seen the sooner a diagnosis and a better prognosis. So there is method in the madness. Wishing you the best and let us know how you are doing. We are trying here in Ireland to encourage gps be more proactive in referrals but so far, things are going slowly

I agree with the others. Your GP is following NICE guidelines - good for him/her! That's a small cyst and a slightly elevated Ca125, could be caused by other things or even normal for you. I had a v large cyst, a Ca 125 of 130 and fluid, and it was only a Borderline Ovarian Tumour. Scary until it's been investigated but try not to think the worst.

Thank very much. I am trying to not think about it. My gp has been great and has send off all paperwork as urgent show I show know in the next 2 weeks.

Don't freak out...the fluid in the pelvis is really easy to drain, I've had it done several times, and not painful. It doesn't sound too bad, so just relax and try not to worry.

I am getting so scared just sitting waiting for my appointment back to the hospital. In jan the gynaecologist done of the all the test apart from ct scan. And I given the all clear. Now the doctor is sending me back because fuild and my level are a little high. Could they have missed anything or could something have happened in 5 months
