Topotecan

Hi All. Feeling very down starting 3rd line in two weeks Topotecan and Carbo any one any experience of Topotecan? Any stories most welcome. Seems like it's spread to my chest area - anyone with this kind of spread? Needing some support from my sisters here.

I don't have any experience with Topotecan yet but am suppose to start this (my 6th line of chemo) at month's end. I do not have any spread into the chest area.

I'm so sorry to hear you're feeling a bit crap. You've always been such a great supporter of everyone on this forum. I hope we can help you get through the bad times. I don't have tumours on my lungs but I think it's a case of when rather than if.

Trish, so sorry to read your news. Can offer no advice on Topotecan or any side effects though, but I am sure you will cope with any thing that occurs...as you always do. It was mentioned when OC recurred that some sign of tumour/fluid on lungs, but no mention since and I don't ask, so I reckon no real problem there.

Will be thinking of you over the coming weeks.

Thanks everyone. I had a few days away and my spirits are lifting. I am having some severe difficulties with the site since the change and don't find it very user friendly (I can never find the sign in button).
