Hi Maz
I'm so glad it's working and you are getting through all this. Even if you feel bad while on chemo, it's doing its job

Hi Maz.. it's been a great comfort to me too... so thank you for your company and I'm glad our paths have crossed. xx
That is amazing news I am so pleased for you
Dear Maz Your message really cheered me up. I'm delighted the gem/carbo Avastin mix is working and you're feeling so much better. xxx Annie
That's great news Maz. When I was suffering the effects of chemo my husband used to cheer me up by saying, "if it's hurting, it must be working".
Good luck with the rest of your treatment.
Love Mary xx
Hi Citrine, You mention about the hurting. Were you on the same regime (gem, carbo, avastin)? I have had a lot of severe stitch like pain in the top right part of my abdomen down to my waist which I presume is the Avastin working as I have spots of cancer on my peritoneum over my liver. Where did you get your pain?
Fantastic news. Long may your markers continue to decrease and you kick it's butt.
That's really good news, I also use the thought process that if it hurts then its doing some good somewhere, and yes I also agree this is a good site to keep you going

Hello Maz. So pleased that the gem/carbo/Avastin mix is wiring for you. It seems to be quite a good combination with few side effects. Keep up the good work. Izzystep xxxx
Hello, I'm so pleased it's working. I too am on the same regime. I have had a lot of severe stitch like pain in the top right part of my abdomen down to my waist which I presume is the Avastin working as I have spots of cancer on my peritoneum over my liver. Did you get much pain?
Brilliant news! I know what you mean about feeling out of your depth, in fact I reckon we have all ferlt like that. What I liker about this site is that we can all relate to one another as we have all been there either as a patientor the loved one of the patient and can relate more to each other because of this. Members are always willing to give advice, gently nudge you in the right direction, celebrate with you, or sympathasise if that's what's needed. We can have a good laugh sometimes too.
Anyway, brilliant news that the chemo is doing its job and good luck for the rest of your treatment. Ann
Brilliant news, Maz, and good to know that you are feeling so much better in yourself despite the side effects of chemo.
Jill xx
