CA125 - I had a blood test yesterday and woke during night with UTI will this cause CA125 to rise. Last one was normal at 14"

I have a 1 cm cyst on my ovary which has not grown in two months and told it does not look suspicious but I am insisting they keep an eye on it as my sister had Ovarian Cancer. Worried that this infection could cause CA125 to rise.

My mum just had a UTI and requested a CA125, and had a small rise from 6 to 14. I posted about it here and was advised that it could very well be due to the UTI. The GP was unconcerned and mum goes back in 3 months for another check.

Thanks britinak I am expecting a rise but live in hope that there won't be. I will just have to ask for it to be done again when I am clear of UTI. Appreciate you taking the time to let me know.
