Having surgery in next few weeks to have enlarged ovary removed. On urgent list. Ca125 norm at 22. Having constant high temperatures past few months and CRP up antibiotics not helping. Has anyone else had these temperatures with ovary enlargement?

Constant high temperatures
Sorry I am not much help, but sending you my best wishes love x G x
Thanks Gwyn. I will be glad to get this surgery ovary to start feeling better again x
Can't be much help, but I have had raised CRP levels with temperatures a couple of times during chemo. On both occasions I was given antibiotics and kept in hospital, but they couldn't find anything wrong. Luckily I've not had any problems for around 4 months or so. Chris
Hi there
I had raised CRP and a raging fever then I first got sick....however it resolved within a few days, but the doctors had never been able to explain it.
My large mass was initially thought to be a simple cyst as my CA 125 came down before the operation. It turned out to be a borderline tumour . I have been mostly fine since.
Good luck with the operation , but if you feel significantly worse go to A and E.

I hope that you get this sorted soon. I had high temperatures after surgery but that was due to an infection that they never really got to the bottom of. I had intravenous antibiotics for ten days but they didn't really seem to help.
Thinking of you.
