We've just got back from the Festival of Speed and had a really great time! I followed he onc instructions to avoid the sun, by wearing loose trousers and a long sleeved blouse, and bought a big brimmed straw hat while I was there! My husband hired one of the electric buggies for me, and I definitely recommend them to anyone going to this sort of do....especially if your feet are hurting!
It was really great to get a family day out, I'm now looking forward to the Revival in September....I've already got my vintage full circle skirt with the fluffy petticoats, as has my daughter!

I'm really glad you had a great day. I would love to go there. Maybe another thing for my bucket list when time and finances allow.

Fantastic chris, I'm jealous. What wonderful weather as well. I told you a buggy is a great boon, and easier than someone having to push a wheelchair. Now have a rest tomorrow.
Wow you certainly know how to pick your days eh? What wonderful weather for your family day out. I am so pleased you had fun and are now looking forward to the next event.
We were just thinking about the Goodwood Festival of Speed yesterday. We went two years ago the week after my first dose of chemotherapy. We were quite nervous but I did exactly the same as you - wore comfy clothing and bought a sun hat there. We had the most wonderful time.
I'm so glad you're not letting the OC stop you doing the things you really enjoy. It was perfect weather for it and the buggy sounds ideal to me.
