Started chemotherapy yesterday

I drove myself as my partner is finding it too stressful to take me now but mum came with me. So far I am fine and no nausea. Just struggling to get out of bed in the morning since my op. 5 to go! Wishing you all well xxx

~Well done. Now you know what its like hopefully the rest of the course wont hold much fear for you. Take the anti sickness stuff even if you don't need it, just to start with.

Getting out of bed is hard enough at the best of times!

I'm on Carboplatin too- half way through now! Only 3 to go. So far major symptom for me is tiredness and feeling generally under the weather. But this only lasts a few days and then I'm back to work and living a pretty 'normal' life. Hope it is similar for you. I'm sure you've heard it before but make sure you drink plenty of water it really does help.

Good luck with it all.
