Post op letter?

Hi I had my ovaries and tubes remove 2 months ago I had a large cyst on my right ovary. The doctor said everything looked fine but they would send it all to the lab.

I’m just wondering if they will write and let me know the result? My husband says no news is good news and if they found anything they would have been in touch by now.

Any advice appreciated thank you.

Hi Janet It's probably fine, but like you, I'd definitely want confirmation of this in writing. You can either contact the secretary of the doctor who did the surgery and ask for a copy of the results, or contact your GP to chase them for you. Best of luck with this xx Sundra

At this stage, I wouldn't worry too much but as Grace says it is better to ring and make an appointment just in case you slipped through the paperwork and it would also put your mind at rest
