Coffee Morning

Hi Ladies, sorry I missed the Coffee morning.Best laid plans of mice and men!! Hubbys mother fell and broke her hip on Friday so we were in hospital with her.T.G ,she's over the operation now and hopefully upwards and onwards for her.Ive also been quiet on line lately due to Hubby and myself buying mobile home by the sea in Kerry and spend most of our time there.Im sorry I missed missing the ladies who came from far distance, would have loved to meet you all.😀

Health wise I'm doing o.k ,I'm kinda worried as my CA125 is rising from 11 to 13 then from 13 to 16 but Onc not worried about that. Also tummy trouble seems to be ongoing and Fatigue from treatment can be debilitating.

Anne xx

  • Hi Annie we did miss you last Saturday but you had a lot going on. I am glad your mother in law is over her surgery. It had to be a long weekend for you all. My numbers going up too but within normal range. Back to Onc mid August. The tummy problems might be linked to the meds. But if it's not causing concern try not to worry. I hope ye get a chance to spend more time in mobile home before Autumn sets in. All the very best xx

  • Hi Annie

I missed you at coffee morning ! I hope your mother in law is on the road to recovery. If your oncologist isn't worried about your CA125, try not to worry either.......easier said than done, I know. I'm on my 6th week of Olaparib and I'm pretty tired at times.......also have digestive problems.......

Mobile home in Kerry sounds wonderful - what part are you in? Kerry is one of my favourite places.

    All the best

  • Also missed you on Saturday but your mother in law comes first. I hope you have many happy weeks in your mobile home. We all hate to see a rise in our Marker no matter how small. When I finished chemo in June it was 28 and last week it was still 28, I was hoping for a drop because as soon as my Marker hits 35 it means something is stirring.

  • Well Kittie its stable and that has to be good
