Meetings in Dublin?

I was just wondering if there are any meetings in Dublin area? I would love to meet with other OC ladies and I'm not sure is there any5hing close to Dublin

Hi Sandra, I am hoping Ovacare have a Patients Day in Dublin this year as it is easier for me to attend as I live in the Midlands, it is usually in November. That said I did travel to Cork last weekend for the Ovacare Barbecue which was most enjoyable. l was sorry I had to leave early to get the train home. Hopefully sometime soon Ovacare might hold a Coffee Morning in Dublin (hint hint Ovacare) . Kittie.

Zaneta we will be organising a patient day in dublin probably early nov. We have tried the coffee morning in dublin but attendance was very poor. If there was a few women who were interested in helping us with this we would definitely facilitate it and advertise it. If there is a Saturday in the next few weeks that would suit some of you in dublin then let us know and we will see who turns up. Thanks sharon

If it's my good week Sharon I will definitely be interested and get myself to Dublin. There has to be a lot of women in Dublin with the biggest population. Will try to fit in with the majority . Take care

I am in Cork but hopefully you will get a few more replies, there has to be more ladies in and around Dublin. Coffee mornings are great to meet up and chat and meet other ladies and get a bit of support. You dont have the opportunity of doing this in a hospital environment. Perhaps contact your gynae liason nurse or Cns to round up a few more troops

As Suzuki said they are a great meeting place to chat with other Ladies going through the same as you are. I have been to a few of the Coffee Mornings in Cork and it is a lovely relaxing get-together and after been to one you will definitely be looking forward to the next one . The same can be said for the Patient Days, so all you Ladies in Dublin and surrounding counties let's all get together and make an Ovacare Coffee morning happen in Dublin. You won't be disappointed. Zaneta , the Ashling hotel is lovely , I have been to 2 Patients Days there and it is on a bus, train and luas route also plenty of parking. Kittie
