Sorry for the late notice with this but we didnt have the full information until now.

The 2nd ovarian cancer forum meeting is taking place in the Conference Centre, South West Acute Hospital, Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh on Friday 9th and Sat 10th Oct. This is primarily a medical/scientific meeting but on the friday evening there is a session open to the public which will include 2 talks from international experts in the area, they start at 18.30.

‘Ovarian Cancer Screening for the general and high risk populations: What it can achieve?’

Dr Adan Rosenthal, Consultant Gynaecologist, University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust UK

There will be a dedicated patient forum following these talks from 19.30 until 20.15 where you have an opportunity to have your questions answered. There is no requirment to register for this session.

This does sound interesting but unfortunately it is a long journey. I did notice that tonight there was a symposium in UCC which included a question and answer session for patients with pancreatic cancer. It would appear that this is on all weekend for the oncolgists and scientists.
