Opicapone
They have now suggested taking
Opicapone
50mg but I’ve read bad things about this and she’s previously had another tablet at night increasing something that didn’t agree with her and made her light headed, so I just don’t think this is the solution but I wanted to know other peoples experiences.

Opicapone
I was wondering if people who have taken
Opicapone
have been given any instructions on how to scale down the amount of levodopa they take per day. I would be grateful if you share this information here. Thank you in advance.

Stalevo and incontinence.
It's not painful enough to be a UTI, but the only medication that HAS given me a UTI in the past was
Opicapone
(just one amongst a suite of problems that it caused), so I'm kind of eyeing the Stalevo and it's Entacapone content with suspicion as they are both COMT inhibitors.

When does Opicapone work?
For those who are taking
Opicapone
, how many days it needs for it to start to work? I started 2 nights ago at 11pm after 400 mg di Sinemet during the day, but it is like to eat a candy: nothing happens 🫥

rasagiline (Azilect) vs Xadago (safinamide) be. Ongentys (opicapone)
Hello all, I have been experiencing off times about 3 1/2 hours after taking one C/L, so my MDS suggested one of these three medications as an add on. (I started with Nourianz, which had no effect. I’m wondering about what people’s experiences has been with any of these drugs? Pros and cons? Thanks

Time to try some extended release?
I ran into
opicapone
, a.k.a. Ongentys, and it seemed to sound like a better option than Entacapone, so I ordered a three month supply of it. I’m now two months on Ongentys, and it’s no more effective than Entacapone.

These days my doctors have prescribed me
opicapone
in combination with levodopa. I currently take 600mg of Sinemet, 10mg of selegiline and 3 grams of Vitamin B1 per day. I wanted to ask who takes
opicapone
their experience in this regard.

Supplements to help thiamin (B1) therapy
I recently saw my neurologist & he wants to put me on
Opicapone
, as my off times are getting longer, however I would rather like to give the B1 therapy another go before trying this new medication. This time with magnesium & B complex.

Opicapone not lasting 24 hours
Can
Opicapone
be taken in the morning instead of the evening? This would be more useful as it's effectiveness does not last for 24 hours.

Who uses Opicapone?
I'm being prescribed a COMT inhibitor
Opicapone
to try and extend my 'on time'. I was wondering if anyone uses this already and has it worked for them? 🤔

Opicapone
My husband was given
Opicapone
about 18 months ago but stopped taking it for some reason. He started taking it again just over a month ago. He found immediate improvement with it eg. not having to go to the toilet so often during the night but he is finding it difficult to get the correct dose.

Fluctuating blood pressure - role of P.D. drugs which impact catecholamine production and levels
I am trying to find out if there has been any research into role of the PD drugs which have a direct effect on catecholamines - COMT inhibitors, eg entacapone..
opicapone
, MAOI (B)s eg safinamide rasagaline, and SNRIs eg mirtazapine.
