I get a metallic taste in my mouth when I have an attack of acid reflux I'm on 20mg of omeprazole and it appears to be working most of the time

Hi, you could try Gaviscon after meals and before bed and see if that helps take the metallic taste away.

I've not really had that but the idea about taking Gaviscon as well is a good one. This might also mean you keep your omeprazole dose lower. I've had a metallic taste in my mouth sometimes in the past if I had an infection. Might be worth just checking that taste isn't something else. Probably not but worth checking?
