I vomit when i cough

Against_the_current profile image

I got a really bad cough and cold and when i start to cough to clean my throat, i throw up. It's terrifying. I don't want to be a burden to mom.

Bless you. It sounds as though you could have acid reflux or Gerd.It causes coughing and vomiting. It is treatable. And can also be helped with dietary changes. Please see your doctor. I'm sure your Mom would be happy to support you. Huge good luck.

That sounds horrible. Its probably acid reflux but you already know that because you posted on this forum. Acid reflux can be managed so try to contact a doctor and ask for professional help. I can recommend Gaviscon last thing at night.

I also see from your other posts that you are suffering from anxiety which only makes acid reflux worse. I know what its like to live with alcoholism and I know its very stressful. I got a lot of help from Alanon. I have looked up to see if they have groups in Bulgaria and it seems they do. Alanon helped me so much to manage the stress of living with an alcoholic. Please check it out and I hope you try it. Here is a link to the Bulgarian website. If you can manage the stress your acid reflux will get so much better. al-anon-bg.org/
