What does this sound like to you…the dr prescribed me some medication for acid reflux and it’s worked with taking the acid away…

But I’m still getting terrible bloating in my stomach and terrible pain in my upper back.

Sometimes my chest hurts too.

I could cry from the pain I don’t think this is just acid reflux..Iv had these symptoms for almost a week now but today it’s been worse😢

Are you eating normal bread?? You should really be eating gluten free. If I eat one slice I'm in pain with bloating for three days. If it's not bread keep a food diary till you can find out what is triggering this problem. Hope this helps, gentle hugs

I will do a food diary but I don’t eat much bread so not sure what’s happening. It only started after having my baby girl 8 months ago!

I can't give a medical opinion but my reflux is like yours - very painful in upper stomach, back etc. I've struggled with it for many years and can't seem to find a solution. It goes away, sometimes for months but always returns. Keep seeing your doctor, you may need a gastroscopy to eliminate other causes. Good luck!

I went to the hospital today with the pain but they didn’t care just changed my medication😩 what do you do to ease the back pain?

So sorry you are still suffering. I am at the moment too - and I can't find a way to ease the pain. I keep taking gaviscon. Try to get an appointment with a gastroenterologist - he may be able to help you.

Where is your pain? I’m going to call my doctor again tomorrow and ask him about some tests. I can’t cope like this

Middle of back, between the shoulder blades. It's a very common symptom of reflux. Yes keep trying to get any help you can. If you find a solution - let me know!

The pain can last for weeks or just days - it depends. Mine is only there if my stomach is paining too - so the only way to check what yours is, is to have a scan etc

What position do you find comfy to sleep in when you have the pain? I can’t get comfortable.I’m going to ring the dr tomorrow and hopefully he will listen to me.

Do any pain meds work for you?

Everyone is different and yours may not even be related to reflux - it may be muscular. I'm sorry I can't help you regarding this - yes go and see your doctor.
