Having a bag bout of reflux at the minute (think rebound acid from coming off the tablets while I get some tests ) but the past 3 nights I've litreally felt like I'm drowning when I'm lying down to sleep! Anyone else ever felt like this when they are bad 👎 I don't eat past 5 and try to sleep propped up xx

with the trigger as you seen, try soaking the excess acidic fluid by eating pop corn or nicely toasted bread if you can tolerate. and try Gaviscon advance liquid in that period.

Remember the ifestyle tricks of not eating clsoe to bedtime etc are mitigation methods. When acid triggered in your example of rebound, only management works for this, for example throwing out the stomach contents, as above soaking up the excess fluids by means of drier foods, soothing using GA liquid etc.
