Hi Everyone wondering if anyone can offer me some advice. My little boy is about to turn 4 and I am loosing the will to live trying to get him to use the toilet for a poo. He will happily tell us he needs a wee and will stay dry but when it comes to a poo he is quite happy to stand there and soil himself and not be bothered by it. We have been potty training for almost a year now and I feel I have tried everything possible to try resolve this. I don't know what else to do it is getting me down....any advice would be greatly appreciated 🙏

Hello Emlocke,
Have you been onto the Just One Norfolk website for information around toileting or contact Just One Number for further support and additional advice?
Hi I have been on the website yes. Was going to Try and do the online video chat on Tuesday next week and have a chat with someone 😊
Hello. I've been potty training my boy for the last year on and off he has only turned three recently. I got some advice like there's a book potty training for boys by Dr Caroline fertleman, and getting the pirate Pete's training book, and things like treats and sticker to encourage them. These might not be of any help as yours in partly potty trained.Have you asked him why. I know he is young but trying to understand the why is important. I know it's frustrating my daughter was trained in a week so I am finding my boy harder, but staying positive for them is good too. (Easier said than done) I'm sure you have tried all these things, let us know how you get on.
Be kind to yourself too you are doing great.
