Hi I was wondering g if anyone could advise my little boy hasn’t seen a health visitor since he was about 3-4 months old the lady said she will come back at 9-12 months haven’t seen her or heard from her he’s nearly 2years old now and I’m worried he’s behind on his speech and language and I don’t know what to do to help, I downloaded this app called speech blubs and the questions for me to answer are indicating that there’s is 7 potential issues with his speech and language I’m so confused and worried that if I don’t get help he’s going to be so behind

Hi I’ve used the phone number given by NorfolkHV and they’ve been really helpful and reassuring, definitely worth a call. Then, depending where you are in the County, some children’s centres have speech and language drop-in sessions that might be helpful for you. The worst thing is worrying by yourself so well done for posting on here!
I’m in Norfolk in a tiny village with limited transport so glad I found this page, I find it hard being a single parent with very little income and not much help other than my parents thankyou I’m going to give them a call and see what they say in the next few days and see what they suggest
