Eating on a budget

I try to plan the meals for the week and then order the food shop from that. It never works though!!! We are fortunate to have quite a big kitchen so I do by the staples in bulk which saves quite a lot of money.

I meal plan but unfortunately I only have about 6 meals the children will eat, so at least my food shopping is predictable. Snacks and lunchboxes have to stay the same too.
