Had problems swallowing over a year or so finally got worse in 2023. Had camera and they found a t4 tumour. Lots of tests and finally started chemo had 4 lots of flot which was gruelling. Surgery was schedualed for march 2024. Had ivor lewis. A week later i was back in surgery my diaphram had ruptured and my bowel was in my chest. Came home tried to eat but was a struggle was re admitted to hosp in may and had nj tube fitted i wasnt well enough for the mop up chemo.. I had nj removed in december. Its been a very hard journey and im still trying to get back to some sort of normallity. I under estimated how hard the recovery is i have a tightness constantly under my ribs and get out of breath when ive eaten. I wish i had gone to drs sooner with the swallowing but i never dreamed it would be cancer. Its scary as i havnt spoken to anyone who has had this surgery so im hoping i get get some answers hear thanks for reading
