Hi Rasor, if you search for Charlie's circle on health unlocked it was set up a few years ago for people who get a recurrence or possible recurrence after Ivor Lewis op. It's under the OPA banner too. I have my fingers crossed for you it must be nerve wracking I hate the Unknown hugs Lizzy

Hi, 2 years ago a ct scan found a nodule in my lung, scans every3 months . Nodule hasn’t changed, & drs not worried about it as not grown.

Plus hearing lots of people have them.

Fingers crossed yours too is nothing to worry about.

Hi Rasor, I had my Ivor Lewis oesophagectomy in 2007. In 2017, I had a CT scan to investigate a problem I was having with my digestive system and it revealed a 13mm nodule on my lower left lung. The MDT decided simply to monitor it. I had three further scans at 6 monthly intervals, which revealed no change. They decided it was benign and had probably been there for many years. The lung consultant told me that this is quite common and not to worry about it.

It is most unlikely that it is a recurrence of the oesophageal cancer.
