Hi everyone. I had my surgery a month ago and all went well. Yesterday, my oncologist cleared me to resume chemotherapy next week (this will be a further 4 cycles of FLOT, over about 8 weeks), but she also mentioned for the 1st time that I will probably need radiation after that, as the surgeon was unable to obtain clear margins. I am totally resigned to having more chemo and have been expecting it all along, but the thought of having radiation at this stage frankly terrifies me. If you are one of those who had radiation after your surgery I would really appreciate hearing about your experience and any advice you may be able to offer me.
